This 3-day shuttle-based safari to Etosha National Park is designed as a streamlined, high-value wildlife getaway.
1. Transportation & Travel Logistics
Shuttle Transfers: Expect a roughly 4- to 5-hour long-distance road transfer in an air-conditioned shuttle vehicle from your starting hub (typically Windhoek or Swakopmund) to Etosha’s gates.
Dedicated Game Drives: Once in the park, you will switch to custom open-top 4x4 safari vehicles designed specifically for 360-degree photography and optimal animal tracking.
2. Wildlife & Landscape Experiences
Massive Wildlife Gatherings: Etosha's arid terrain forces animals to gather around natural and artificial waterholes. Expect frequent sightings of lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, gemsbok (oryx), springbok, and endangered black rhinos.
The Etosha Pan: You will see the famous, immense salt pan—a brilliant white, cracked-clay landscape so vast it can be seen from space, providing dramatic backdrops for photos.
Floodlit Night Viewing: If your lodge/camp is inside or adjacent to the park, expect access to a floodlit waterhole where nocturnal species like black rhinos, hyenas, and lions come to drink after dark.
You will be collected from the Windhoek Truckport by the shuttle service. The transfer vehicle will depart at 7:00 am and we will head north towards Okahandja. We stop briefly at the small town of Otjiwarongo, which is a thriving little town built on many aspects; mining and agriculture being the most important. We then drive to Outjo, which is the home of many tourist attractions and has a strong agricultural community. Then, we enter Etosha National Park and arrive at our overnight accommodation at Etosha Safari Lodge.
At around 2 pm, the half-day excursion to the Etosha National Park will start at reception. The duration of the tour is 5 to 6 hours. After the game drive, dinner will be ready.

Explore the Etosha National Park and its amazing wildlife on this guided full-day excursion in a 24-seater game vehicle. Refreshments, snacks, national park entrance fees, and passenger liability insurance are included. After returning from the game drive, dinner will be ready.
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and a few hours at leisure. At 12:30 pm, you need to be ready at reception for the short transfer back to Etosha Safari Camp. The transfer vehicle will depart Etosha Safari Camp at 1:00 pm. The 421km journey from Etosha to Windhoek begins as a peaceful countryside drive and then gradually transforms into bustling towns as one moves more inland to the capital. This journey is filled with an abundance of different sceneries as the landscape changes from the large open, white, seemingly ashy, earth crust with just a few basil-green arid thorn shrubs and tamboti trees sprinkled through the horizon to large mountain ranges and peaks known as the Khomas Highlands.
Arrival at Windhoek Truck Port is around 6:00 pm.
